Leadership
Robert Watkin is the founder and president of Oasis Life Network. He loves connecting people from all different backgrounds and sharing life with them. Jesus has profoundly changed his life, and Robert is passionate about sharing Him with others.
An ordained pastor, he earned his Masters of Divinity from Trinity School for Ministry. He is currently completing his doctorate at Gordon-Conwell Seminary.
Robert served for 15 years at The Falls Church Anglican in Falls Church, Virginia, most recently as the Director of Outreach. In the 1990’s, he lived in the Republic of Kazakhstan and taught English at Aktau University for five years. He helped launch the Mangystau Educational Center which included a library, computer lab, and English training center for the community. He also started Rakhim Church, one of the first multi-ethnic congregations with predominantly Kazakh leadership in Western Kazakhstan.
Robert is married and has two children. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing jazz piano, and learning languages (including Kazakh, Russian, French, German and Greek) in his spare time.
